The national flag of the United Arab Emirates was adopted on 21 December 1971. The flag is made up of 3 horizontal bands, colored with: green the color that represents the earth, nature and fertility, the white color of peace and neutrality and the black that represents the oil wealth, to the left of the flag near the auction is also a vertical band colored red representing the blood shed to defend the country from other states. The colors of the United Arab Emirates flag reflect the colors of the Panarabi, which represent Saudi Arabia as a whole.
